I think I'll always consider Obama a great man, and a great American

But I'm willing to concede that the White House wasn't the right venue. I won't call his ideas anti-American, but rather "non-American" in that they just don't fit this country.

(I read the post, TB, where you talk about "anti-American" having a specific meaning, and you're right of course. But it also has an ugly connotation that I just can't apply to a man who became President.)
