Some people believe the ideal government has leaders and obedient minions. I don't. A real Republic should have a difficult time getting things done. Go back and look at how our founding documents were worked out. A real dog's breakfast. That's how free people do things.
I'm suddenly realizing that the concept of conservative governing is so alien to liberals that a lot of them can't seem to wrap their heads around it and are interpreting it as failure to achieve the proper top-down efficiency.
Boehner is a humble, likeable man who, unlike Pelosi - or Obama for that matter - does not believe his office came with a Certificate of Deification. I only wish there were more like him in there.
