And a pretty pathetic attempt. You just can't seem to get your mind around the fact that Boehner is ineffectual and is quickly becoming a joke. If a majority can't get their stated legislative agenda through the mill, the reason is incompetence of leadership. Boehner's obviously too busy crying and justifying it to pay attention to business. He also needs to check his facts before he opens his mouth to stick his foot in it.
This isn't a popularity contest; it's about effective leadership and the Republicans don't have it.
