Some of these are close calls so if anyone feels misclassified, feel free to move or form a third line. If I have left anyone out it is because they participate infrequently or I forgot.

One of the first things that become apparent is the fallacy that this board is heavily weighted conservative. If anything this board is weighted moderate.

I genuinely like and admire nearly every one of the above individuals. Of all the members of this board, there are only a few with whom I frequently and vehemently disagree and only one that I thoroughly dislike.

Corky Corcoran retreated from the MSNBC boards in abject defeat. He was impaled by his own arrogance and unpleasant nature. He chose to return as the friendly Bowser, mans best friend no doubt. Unfortunately for Corky, his cartoon persona could not mask his stench forever. Like the fable of the scorpion and the frog Corky cannot control his basic nature. He insults our intelligence with his inane word games and then he just insults our intelligence. Taking insult to epic scale, he insults entire States, entire regions and mass segments of the population with little regard for race, creed, or national origin. To Corky winning an argument is drawing the conclusion that his adversary is stupid or at least far less intelligent than himself but he will cry foul and wail to the high heaven if he is attacked in a similar way.

As if anyone cared, Corky often pompously asserts that he doesn’t even read certain posters. That’s a familiar gambit from his MSNBC days. Few of us read every post but you can bet I read those that tend to disagree with me. They are a sometimes a source of knowledge or at least a source of amusement.

If this board were a double elimination IQ tournament, I would soon be in the losers bracket, along with Corky. I know that, he doesn’t and in spite of his self proclaimed liberalism; Corky seems to think that wisdom is the domain of intellectuals. Publious shares this trait but assuming ALL of his words are not cut and paste, at least he appears to stake a better claim to intellectual elitism. Publious relies on his dogma and is a loyal soldier for the radical left. Corky serves no one and nothing except his own bitter arrogance.

Those of you who have been around for 4-5 years will have a better understanding of this rant. I hope that Corky hangs around under whatever name he chooses and I promise to try to keep my expressions of contempt for his personality to a minimum.
