Hi Raoul,
I watched your admirable restraint and politeness back on the MSNBC boards.
Here everyone has their hair down just a bit more and so things get testy.
I'll admit to having tried to goad you out of your shell on occasion...but you know that's just a part of my half-breed nature. I know what issues to push but you have more often than not resisted commenting. ;-)
But wait...you're a half-breed too... (As evidenced by your presence here - most europeans wouldn't be caught dead on a US based BBS - and not just because of language limitations!)
The posters here are generally nice people (I think) and after having observed the give and take over the years at MSNBC I know that there will always be differences of opinion and that most folks here LIKE to get riled up and into a debate.
So sometimes one has to read between the lines.
Besy wishes,
SDAI-Tech1
PS
I never had many posts with Corky (at least none that I can recall) - I recall the name (I always thought of Corky Sherwood from Murphy Brown when I did see it) and saw it appear rarely on the "Mysteries of the Universe" board. However - Bowser's tedious time-consuming defense of his position would make me bet with 99.5% certainty that he is "Corky". I know I certainly wouldn't waste that much time defending a false accusation or trying to keep people guessing about some identity. And someone who is not Corky wouldn't want people to think he was, if Corky had some real bad rep - and would likely just have simply denied it. Obviously some old MSNBC intrigue/conflict here is surfacing which I am unaware of.
So long as Bowser is not Plumer - hey I don't really care ;-)
