I remember my history teacher Saying that technically President Lincoln was a Republican, but since then, the parties have switched with each other and that today he would be considered a Democrat (just don’t tell those good old southern Democrat boys or they’ll switch sides)
I used Arkansas as an example in the above post because my great grand father settled there when he came from Germany. Both of my parents and all of my grandparents are from there. I personally have known Arkansasans all of my life. I can tell you they are mostly Democrats there. These same Democrats are very racist and many have Klan sheet in their closet.
