After 9/11, there was a feeling going around that America as weak and vulnerable. Now, after the most powerful military the world did something no other country could have (take out Iraqis military with few casualties on all sides) there is feeling of confidence in America’s strength again.
Americans are not afraid any more.
After 9/11, I would wonder when the tall buildings of downtown Houston would become a target of terrorism. Every day that I came downtown and saw the skyscrapers, I was reminded of 9/11, and I would wonder if this is the day we get hit.
I don’t do that anymore. I can move on past 9/11 now.
