I had a feeling the "grow a uterus" argument was coming.
Sorry God/Nature did not intend for me to get pregnant. It just ain't gonna happen no matter how hard I try.
Women are entitled to be more than incubators. Period.
No problem with that statement, i just wish the choice part came into it before conception not after.
I know there are situations where the woman did not choose (like rape) nor had the oppurtunity to choose. I promise to mind my own business in such cases. I am also not so narrow-minded to know that there are situations where pregnancy can have forseeable complications, such as death to the mother, I'll pass on judgeing that decision as well.
Where abortion riles me is when it is used as 2nd chance birth control.
Men's right to choose is the right to keep their pants on. If you guys all do that, we'll see how many abortions there are in the coming year.
ok by me, but the reverse works as well, except in the case of abuse (physical mental and sexual).

PS my wife is due in 5 weeks. Luckily the doc will deliver in 4 (c-section). Believe me, I feel nothing but sympathy for women, especially my wife, during pregnancy. In this case it was not solely my choice. There are some women who choose to go through it. What a crappy world it would be if nobody did.
On a side note my 2 year old (3 in April) talks of little else than when her little sister will come out of mommy's tummy and play with her. We've already named her Ila May, which I think has helped immensely in preparing the 2 yr old Jessica. However the true test will be in a couple of months when the baby moves into her room with her.
