Thinking people arrive at a more liberal point of view, especially as they mature.
They like people, see material stuff for what it is - NOT the meaning of life, the be all and end all.
It's just natural. And, there's no guarantee people will mature past an endless fascination with ego-gratification.
Simple.
And, when you get to the grandkids stage, that will start happening to you. Can't say the same for a few of the neighbors, though.
And the conservative media is endless, absolutely endless. It even extends to the pulpit, Falwell, Robertson, and on and on. Then, Rush, the bandleader, Hannity, etc.
The monied interests are very, very well represented. But conservatives resent ANY other point of view.
