The issue here is that the GOP is using war talk to take people's minds off the economy, which is headed into a very large, deep tank.
Poking fun at The Little Monkey is something that's impossible to pass up, but he's soooo vulnerable.

At any rate, as the German said, it's a classic trick, and one that was predicted long ago. GWB would try to start a small war before this November election and a bigger one before the next.
And some of us think there is more than enough to do here at home without "preemptive aggression" against a country who isn't a threat.

A war will be expensive, the gov't will have to borrow more money, much more, interest rates will rise, and investment slow. And the economy will head farther into the tank.
