Re: What if it doesn't . . . ?

I spoke tonight at length with a British business man visiting this country and asked him what the views of his social circle were like about Bush's proposed war with Iraq. I said "straight across the board, all of his liberal AND conservative contacts" and he said they were all almost 100% against it. I asked him what their opinion of Tony Blair was then, seeing as he's the only leader so far who backs Bush. He said he is not liked over there, and everyone will just vote him out in the upcoming election, which is another two years away. He says by then, that a lot of damage could be done.
They have a huge Muslim population over there, and they have their pro Bin Laden churches out in the open. He realizes that to rile the Muslims up, will bring terrorism into England.
He also re-iterated that our press was too bland and didn't state any of the facts that the rest of the world is addressing now.
Oh America, we really don't want to be part of this world, do we?
