Anyone remember Katherine Harris?
By law had to resign in order to run for Congress. Didn't resign. Then resigned retroactively and kept working. The law clearly disqualified her candidacy.

Jeb Bush (related) & Co. swept that under the very, very large rug they keep down there mostly for "dysfunctional" (read Democratic) ballots. Sometimes hide a kid or two under it, too. And maybe a criminal drug charge if it's against a relative. BIG rug.
