A "Verbal Typo?"

I did? Where did I see that?

If are you referring to B-52 in place of B-25? Now that truly is a typo, but it doesn't involve adding or omitting a word, but rather hitting two keys slightly out of sequence.

So tell me please, how you could change one word - add or subtract as you like - that could change the sense of President Bush's statement about first learning of the initial WTC attack by watching it on TV at Booker, complete with all those little details about the guy being one bad pilot, because, you know, he used to fly?

The first strike was not broadcast live, so presumably he couldn't have watched it on TV anywhere during that period, unless he had some, uh, really special arrangements.

At any rate, we've already seen John Cochran's ABC reportage stating that Mr. Bush was informed of the first attack before departing his hotel for the Booker elementary school, when his chief of staff Andy Card whispered something in his ear.

"Peter, as you know, the president's down in Florida talking about education. He got out of his hotel suite this morning, was about to leave, reporters saw the White House chief of staff, Andy Card, whisper into his ear. The reporter said to the president, 'Do you know what's going on in New York?' He said he did, and he said he will have something about it later. His first event is about half an hour at an elementary school in Sarasota, Florida."

OK, have at it, and spell it out for me - that "verbal typo" - because apparently I'm a little slow and can't quite figure what you're getting at here:

How do you get from your chief of staff whispering in your ear outside your hotel, to a TV at Booker, by adding or subtracting a word?
