democracy becomes too participatory?
It stops being "democracy" and "free speech" when things start getting wrecked and burned. If we are actively at war, and the things wrecked, burned, or interfered with are military supplies, it's worse.
Some poor sap is going to get hurt screwing with the military during wartime. The sad part is it's going to be one of the useful idiots, and not one of the Stalinists instigating this.
