Re: Sorry...

One of the greatest weapons the Left uses is its ability to thoroughly fog the concepts that would permit people to argue with them on any rational basis. No matter what term you use to describe an idea that enslaves the nations that adopt it, they squirm around it. "I'm not one of those, says the protestor. "I'm something else entirely." What? Reply hazy. Ask again later.

I actually had one person post that these organizers weren't "Stalinist" but "Trotskyite." Give me a break.

You can call it "Fershlugginerism" for all I care. You know what I'm talking about as clearly as I do, as does everyone reading these posts, and forcing me to try to nail Jello to a tree is just going to encourage me to bring out the blowtorch.

Anything to try and plaster over the historical truth of 80 million dead on the altar of Karl Marx, who is still taught in American colleges as having the solution to our problems, even if he isn't mentioned by name. And I don't give a load of llama manure if these nations did not have "real Marxism." Every time a Marxist--any Marxist--gets enough control of a nation, it dies. Every goddam time. Frankly, I think they've had enough shots at it, and when Marxists parade around the U.S. claiming they should be in charge, damn right I'm going to come down on them like a ton of bricks. I'm tired of people trying to find the perfect mix of cyanide and milk to make baby formula.

The names the Left uses for itself change as often as those of people who pass bad checks, and for similar reasons. Not communist, socialist. No, New Leftist. No, liberal. No, progressive. Next year it will be something else. Their organizations hide their motives under names along the lines of Partnership for Civil Justice, International Action Center, and pretty much any combination of vague words indicating nothing.

Sorry if I'm getting cranky, but it gets frustrating to point at an elephant and have people go, "what elephant?" It's even more irritating to know how easily people can pull my chain on things like this.
