<"There is a large amount of circumstantial evidence that one sign of being a tyrannical lunatic is that one argues for adopting a pure centralized and non democratic form of Marxist communism"
...Still trying to wriggle off the semantic hook, eh? ;)
Okay, so we apparently have "evil" Marxism and "good" Marxism.* Unfortunately, in our historical experience, the tyrannical lunatics do NOT argue for adopting "a pure centralized and non democratic form" of Marxism.
At the beginning, every single would-be dictator has claimed and still claims to be for "good" and "pure" Marxism, with the disappearing state and all that crap, when they are climbing to power. Of course, getting the support of the Masses in the early stages would be kind of hard if you advertised the gulags and bread lines ahead of time.
Only when it's too late do they somehow change over to "evil" Marxism.
Every single time.
So, unless someone passes some kind of law that says that all advocates of Marxism must wear a warning label that states something along the lines of "Warning: Marxist utopia subject to inevitable switch-and-bait for totalitarian regime," I would recommend treating all advocates of Marxism the same way. Run them out of town on a rail. With tar and feathers.
* I suppose by extension there must be a "good" Platonian Ideal of Fascism or Nazism too. All the advantages, the fun parades, none of the gas chambers. Like "good" Marxism, I have no idea how it could possibly work in real life.
