DEBKAfile says that Syria is already crawling with U.S. Special Forces. However, given that this is Syria, and DEBKAfile is Israeli (with a huge incentive to get the U.S. into Syria), I'm inclined to be even more skeptical than usual.

There is extensive evidence of Iraqi leaders in Syria, but have seen nothing conclusive on WMD.
