If Syria has WMD's it won't be those coming from Iraq , but their own, I mean, produced by clandestine groups.
I fail to see why Saddam would take his own WMD's to Syria.
He would loose control on them and knowing Saddam, it's the last thing he want's to do, loosing control on anything.
But the "rumors" about WMD's coming from Iraq and going to Syria can also be part of the disinformation policies to justify actions.
Hassad is not comparable to Saddam. The ROW knows that.
