I don't believe the war was about oil, although it sure didn't look good that our troops protected the Iraqi Oil Ministry from looters but not the Iraqi National Museum. My point really is that I don't think Bush is at all interested in tackling the Arab-Israeli conflict. Can't say I blame him but it comes with the job description.
