About that diagnosis
As anyone who has perused the Space Science board today can see, I have been conducting a little experiment to gather more material for a new diagnosis for E.P. Grondine. Try as I might to get him to "play" here on the Flame board, he is adamant about remaining on the Space Science board. I suspect he feels that as long as he posts over there with "real" people then that makes him one too. Frankly, I feel this is probably the crux of Grondine's problem. in that he "identifies" with professional scientists and engineers because he fantasizes that he is one. To gain a view through his "mask of sanity," I deliberately provoked him in certain areas of his psyche and, just like Pavlov's dog, he came out barking and foaming at the mouth.
