Gee I didn't know Apollo astronauts looked for life on the Moon

Exactly how do you consider a 500 day misison to Mars an Appollo style survey. Do you think Apollo missions lasted that long? Do you think they looked for life? Do you think they scaled cliffs of layered rock (which no robot can currently do) looking for any kind of geological evidence? Do you realize Mars has far more varied geology than the Moon? Did they make any effort to learn how to use Lunar resources? That you either know so little about or ignore so much about this topic you spout off so authoritatively on says volumes about your mindset.
