Is Aldrin a physicist or engineer?

I think your apparent implication is false if Aldrin is a physicist. It is unlikely he would be involved with real world cost cutting efforts as a physicist. It is also unlikey even as an aerospace engineer if he has never worked in a commerical production facility. You certainly don't get that experience as head of NSS.

see ya
