I do a lot of work as a contractor at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, a high security complex. Since 9/11 the security has elevated to the point that some of my crew who were able enter and work, no longer can. Now the guards randomly search vehicles and trucks vigorously and I have watched trucks with 25 tons of base rock or sand ordered to dump there loads for inspection. Talk about humiliation of the truck driver who knows there is nothing of suspicion in his load and having to wait for someone else with a tractor to come and pickup the pile and load it into his truck again all the while other trucks with the same materials are passing him without inspection. This truck driver is getting paid by the load not by the hour and he is an American citizen in his own country.
The Palestine(s) who feels humiliation for being searched for trying to deliver goods into a region that has been experiencing suicides against its people for years needs to get a clue and stop this whining of self pity. If the Palestines want respect then they can get a life and stop the suicide bombing which is not the answer to eliminating any form of humiliation.
