A conundrum
I like Latins as a group and I have found them to be good friends and neighbors. I lived and worked with Latinos in CA and they were outstanding friends
I am torn as to what is right. Obviously legal is better but the system is so ridiculously screwed up it is beyond repair. The main thing is that Latinos (in spite of a few radicals) are not our natural enemies on ethnic or religious grounds.
An interesting side bar to this is the terrible way that the illegals are treated by their own. Like Black on Black crime, Legal Latinos often treat their fellow Latinos like slaves.
I lost friendship with a Panamanian in NOLA for hiring an illegal Mexican family for slave wages and exploiting them in a horrible way.
