Too Pessimistic. The future will be Magnificent!

Fusion was unrealistic. Nuclear power that taps the atom without the waste is the key. Controlled energy release. Instead of bursting atoms' nuclei as is done in fission try a mental image of siphoning some of an atom's energy but letting it reachieve balance before it becomes malformed. In other words, converting some of the atom's motion to energy but not the whole atom.

Here's another mental image: when you use the fundamental frequency to increase a natural signal. The gain is achieved because of resonance.

How does one siphon an atom's power? That will be the secret of the next energy revolution but excitation, resonance, nanotechnology and fundamental frequencies will play a key role ;-)

Now imagine a "nuclear" power plant that produces absolutely no waste byproducts.

No smoke. No control rods. No radiation. No toxic chemicals.

Nothing but pure power. As much as one wants to create*

That is what I think will replace oil and the nuclear reactors. And why I am not going to feel guilty when I fill up my Suburban to go to work on the solution.

Energy is all around us. It's never lost. Energy is never created. Conversion is what the game is all about.

The future world I see not only has power it is incredibly powerful almost too much power! Magnificent power that could power spaceships safely or is in such abundance that is could feed power to you car on wired electric highways all over the world. As the technology would shrink it may power vehicles themselves. The technology that would be born of this era of almost endless power is almost inconceivable. Light as one's never imagined. Lasers of mammoth power. Mass transit that one actually wants to take because it is traveling hundreds of mph faster than traffic.

The era of force fields will eventually come about by this advanced knowledge of "tuning" certain atoms to attract or repel specific signals. And they will actually have enough power to pull off using them. Yes, it will be a vastly different world.

Even further in the future these enormous fields will enclose the cities and shield them from radiation and weather by deflecting certain signals. Paradise? Not quite. But better than it is now by a longshot.

Oil is crude. It's passing will not be mourned if/when the day finally does come. It just motivates one to redouble one's efforts to pursue new methods of converting energy.

Always the optimist,
