Hadn't thought of that. And regarding recouping the research costs, if that were true, which it's not, why not recoup them from Canadians, too? And Mexicans?
I think they are trying to tell us that the drug companies feel sorry for the poor Canadians and Mexicans, and are willing to sell drugs AT COST, to help the poor folks.
While Americans can't get them because the drug companies have to recover their research costs.
I would think an American company would try to recoup their expenses from foreign countries, and sell to Americans at cost. How unpatriotic!
And the research costs are taxpayer funded to begin with in the vast, vast majority of drugs. NIH and universities.
