no, the purpose of the armed forces is to keep america safe. Please tell me HOW we are safer now? How did our actions reduce the threat? We claimed an Iraq/al-queda connection... before the war there wasnt one, there sure as hell is one now! do you think we reduced al-queda recruitment? No we increased it.... 100's of billions that could have been spent on fighting terrorism have been wasted on this war... and what the HELL have we accomplished? Ya we 'liberated' millions of people, but that wasnt the reason for the war, was it? If it was, why arent we 'liberating' the north koreans, the chinese or any one of a dozen african nations?

This 'war of liberation' that used to be a war about wmd has made the world a more dangerous place for america, so what the hell have we accomplished?
