"Training? A simple 'NO' would have sufficed."

Formal training: No.

I did study Mathematics and Logic extensively, so I'm good with them-thar 'finer points of reason' an' such. If the premises force the conclusion, logically, well then the premises force the truth of the conclusion.... Unless you want to say Reason is just high-falutin' nonsense, or saddam-loving or pro-terrorist or [...], all of which seems to be the nacent view in politics since 911 and the Iraq war.

In religion, things don't have to be provably true for them to be right. TRUTH in religion is not about emperically justified premises yielding true conclusions. Thats what our political landscape has become: Religious ferver.

I know I know! You disagree and I'm just being pompous: But before you start swinging, though, answer me this question:

Before 6 months ago, why did we go to war in Iraq?
What are those same people saying now?
See my point? Got Faith?

God, Bless...
