When it comes down to it, the voters will be asking themselves:
What did Clinton do after we were attacked by terrorists? Several times?
What did Bush do after we were attacked by terrorists?
What would Kerry do?
The answers are right there. The attempt to stick Bush as the cause of 9/11 isn't going to work, and just because it's left the internet looney boards and gone mainstream isn't going to help.
Never happening again? Bush destroyed the Taliban, completely tore down Afghanistan and rebuilt it, and shredded most of al Qaeda. To hear you talk, you'd think we'd attacked Iraq first. Despite the fact that we are number one on the terror shit list across the planet, there have been zero terror attacks in the U.S. since 9/11. There is a reason for this.
Sure Clarke apologized. He isn't running for anything, and it probably boosted his sales ten percent. If a conservative had come after a liberal president while simultaneously shilling a book on his testimony, you would never have let us hear the end of it.
And if you want to argue about my sources, fine. It's easier than arguing about the content, I suppose.

- Well, a simple "No, Davin, I'm not going to answer any questions that would have me back up my narrow, misleading and selectively quotes statistics" would suffice
