I am pleased you found it of interest. In the context it was authored I was dispairing and thinking of the old adage regarding pearls and swine. Well, small pearls at least.

The History of the 20th century is a very rough read in any honest book of history. At once horrific and then also showing man transforming himself into things undreamt of by their ancestors. Maybe transformation (at once horrid and devine) is the soul of the 20th century.

Something tells me it may have been the relative clam before the storm of the 21st. Like the old chineese saw, take it either way.

The verdict will be out for decades if it all was worth it. I hope it was. Apropriate that we discuss the history of the 20th in the breath after talking about Rousseu and Locke.
