Is Christianity a peaceful religion?

After all, didn't the Christians murder most of the Jews of Europe, and then give Palestinian ( both Moslem and Christian) land to those who survived?

Consider also the Native American peoples, and the genocide in the Americas.

And then consider those earlier "religious" wars in Europe.

Has any religion, except Budhism, not been used as a basis for conquest and genocide?
