re: They say otherwise

Caution is in order here. I have not examined this in great detail, and have already seen a couple of issues that need to be clarified. Almost all the hostility towards Kerry that I see from veterans is based on his behavior after he got back from Vietnam, not on what he might have done on missions. The latter behavior is a matter of public record. A lot of the veterans on this website, particularly the petition signers, seem to be coming from that direction.

This isn't one or two guys making noise. It's dozens. If even only one or two are telling the truth...

I don't put much weight on Kerry's Vietnam experience decades ago when judging what he would do NOW as president. That was a long time ago. Maybe I'm wrong about that. Sure as hell Kerry has decided to make it the centerpiece of his campaign. Maybe he should change the focus, a bit. What have you done for the military lately, Kerry?

I do find the issue interesting when comparing reactions of the Left and the media to this issue, and the "Bush AWOL" issue. Are there differences on deciding credibility of witnesses? Anybody remember how Bill Burkett was treated by the Left?

Look for the Left to be "horrified" at this outrage, and to focus on everything about the website except what these people are actually saying. Already seeing some of that here.
