I haven't really spent a lot of time analyzing all this, but from all that I've heard in passing from both left and right, I'm having a heck of a time telling who was where on these boats.

The famous photo on the Swiftvets.com page is not Kerry's boat crew, but a collection of his fellow boat commanders.

I don't think I've ever seen a complete rundown of his actual boat crew, although I have the names of some crew members who support him, and other crew members who don't. It seems to be about half and half from what I can tell.

If the press does its job, all this should be run to ground soon. If they don't do their job, the bloggers and others will.

It is very important to remember that many veterans are hostile to Kerry not because of any alleged weird stuff he pulled on the river, but because of his well-documented actions after he returned from the war. This isn't being split off properly in this controversy.
