Grist
Tom may be a near purist in conservative thought but at least he is a thinker and he is always civil.
IMO Tom is the glue that hold this board together. While conservatives and liberal alike choose to ignore or not respond (me, tony, fox, mary ann, davin etal) Tom refuses to let what he perceives as BS go unchallenged.
Thank goodness for Tom. Without him I believe this board might devolve into a liberal (or conservative) circle jerk of negativity, slogans and ad hominem.
Like him or not, he is usually the one that brings the more thoughtful liberals into the mix and that gives me the will to hang around and endure a lot of empty headed drivel.
