Sorry to have used the word "educated". Should've instead used the phrase "the people I know to be extremely intelligent". That often does not correlate directly to the number of years they were able to remain in school.

I have very close friends that never finished high school that I know, were we on a sinking ship together, would cobble together a three masted schooner from deck chairs prior to the bow sinking below the waves. I also have acquaintances with doctorates that got them simply because their own wealth allowed them to become full-time students instead of having to go out and make it on their own.

What I've found is that I judge people more on their honesty, compassion, ingenuity and their ability to see beauty in life than whether or not they managed to get up ever morning from the drunken frat parties of their college years.
