Thanks for the glow-sticks idea! It won't work very well for the daylight sessions -- the room is round with arrow-slit windows, like a castle turret, with no blinds -- but at night it could be magical.

Currently we make fireflies with glitter for their tails. Glitter is always a big hit with this age group.
