Clarification:

That would be "more skilled in" or "more skillful with".

should read:

That would be "more skilled in [the use of]", with the bracketed phrase either explicit or understood, or "more skillful with".

Correction:

The hazards of making stupid overgeneralized statements about a group, any group (the "Black People Have Rhythm" School of Analysis) are many.

should read:

The hazards of making stupid overgeneralized statements about a group, any group (the "Black People Have Rhythm" School of Analysis), are many.
