"I'm sure Davin could parse your logic for you too, but I'm also sure he's quite busy."
The problem is, Geoff (along with central portions of the American 'Right' and no small sect of the american 'left') represents a 'system' of thought that is both incomplete and inconsistent. Inferences drawn do not even preserve validity. As such, it allows for absurd conclusions to be drawn from simple and unambiguous premises. As we have witnessed time and time again WRT the Iraq war.
But Geoff should take heart, for in his world he can quite literally, prove anything from anything. Empirical real world truth is just a 'detail invented by partisan hacks', etc etc- to be vigorously denied and derided.
I refer to Geoffs endeavor as semantic masturbation with syntactic tools. Proof Mysticism as opposed to Proof Theory. My farmer forefathers would call it 'talkin shit just to hear yourself talk'. Obstinate dishonest contradictory bullshit also works pretty good.
In the end- its not worth it.
