I put up the statistics. These black victims are not being killed by Martians, and not by accidental gunfire on New Year's Eve. They are being killed by criminals, almost all of their own race, and in numbers much larger than their percentage of the U.S. population.

Interestingly, six-year-olds dying in gunfire in Oakland and elsewhere don't seem to make national news.
