Living in a democracy means understanding our rights and duties.
Very often, we forget about laws we are supposed to follow.
However:
Nemo Censentur Ignorare Legem
Nobody is supposed to ignore the law.
This goes for everybody (except fo children too young to have any awareness of their responsabilities).
Nobody is evil; but we're all responsible.
To be evil is too easy and it explains away one's behaviour.
To be evil is left to children for whom explaining why this one did that is too difficult to undertand.
Alexander Solzhenitsyn:
If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being.
