What Exaxctly Do You Think The UN Is For?

Undercutting its own resolutions as France and Russia did? It's done a fine job of that.

Making peace by avoiding hot spots as it has in Iraq? It's done a fine job of that.

Ignoring genocide as it has in multiple instances over the past decade? It's done a fine job of that.

A bully pulpit for those who want to condemn the US or Israel? It's done a fine job of that.

Silly me I thought it was supposed to be a force for real peace and security. It's history has clearly shown that the UN will support war in order to maintain security and longer term peace so ignoring 1441 and the Iraq war lambasting so common these days are not a basic part of the UN function.

Mark
