..the Alter Oper is having an excellent performance this week and I just came back from the Paris fashion shows. We shall not upset our carefully plotted social calendar with something as messy as fixing the Sudan holocaust. Only time for a taxi over and to piously condemn Americans for trying to clean up the Middle East and not clean up the rest of the world.
Besides we Euros are vastly superior, much more cultured, educated, multilingual and dress better than Americans and are quite busy calling you war-mongering, racists. And if George Bush does decide to go to Sudan to clean it up...we already know it's because he is racist and anti-muslim, anti-black and a war monger and will never let you hear the end of it.
When George Bush ignored the Middle East we wined and then whined everyday about the bad things going on down there because of the lack of US involvement and now we can blame the US for the bad things going on down there even though we know many residents of the region have the IQ of dirt and would just as soon slit your throat as look at you.
But how dare you try and democracy to the Middle East! They are savages and we just wanted to placate and facilitate their hatred of Israel. America was just supposed to broker oxymoronic 'peace' summits between Israel & Palestine every decade for the rest of the next four centuries! How dare you suggest we involve ourselves in anything! We are superior and superior folks sit in the cafe, read the Zeitung, watch with amused detachment at the two buffoons running forAmerican office and bitch.
