and I'm surrounded by a whole lot of dissolutioned people that I helped convince to vote for the first time in their lives. They got to see just how powerless an alternative voice is here in a heavily Republican state.
(much self-serving whining snipped for thankful brevity)
Basically the message yesterday was that, if I want to have a voice politically in the state of my birth, I have to become involved as a Republican. There is no independence here in Maricopa county. It's either atone or be left out completely. That's a bit sad, don't you think?

Life is SO hard for you, the put upon one alone in the valley of Neanderthals.
Try living in MA. 100% (D) congresscritters. Not ONE (R) won, not one yet again. Plus, in the state legislature 100% of the (D) legislators won. Not 98%, but 100%. Ballot initiatives are now 0. That's zero, because those that pass, and they used to pass by large majorities, get ignored by the legislature. Here's a hint for the obtuse, they're not Republicans. I only state these facts because I read these incessant whines by the enlightened unappreciated liberal intelligencia.
