Art, you have my sympathy.

I am not sure how this country has gotten so evenly and sharply divided. Has it been this way since the Civil War (Looking at the RED/Blue map of this election results, I can’t help but see some resemblance to the American map during the Civil War.) Are we still plaque by the Civil War?

Are we really that sharply divided, or is most of America in the middle ground. The TV always shows us the radicals from both sides, yet everyone I know is either a moderate Republican or Democrat.

A big problem the Democrats have, IMO, is that you have conservative and liberal democrats. Both are about as opposite as you can get. Get a Bible Belt Conservative Democrat to agree with a California Liberal Democrat and y9ou have performed a miracle. Is it time for the Democrat party to split into a Liberal and Conservative parties?

America will go on, Art. I do have faith in that.
