Mark, your fear and your belief that weak democratic presidents have led us into 9/11 is totally misleading. The underpinnings of Mohammed Atta and his cadre came about, existed to come about AND go freely about were DIRECTLY in this country under auspices of the CIA, FBI and FAA. Atta was working with Bin Laden's brother out of Miami moving drugs in and out of the country. Bin Laden's brother ran a flight school from Switzerland allowing young Saudi pilots to come "train" over here, even though a lot of them were licensed international pilots who didn't need to learn to fly.

They were part of a drug running cover team similiar to Iran Contra 25 years ago. And there were MANY Saudis removed from this country without questioning while the rest of this country's planes were grounded two days after 9/11. Bush made sure of that, the orders came directly from the White House. Those things never made it into the official 9/11 report, and they never will because it is embarrrassing to the national "security" of this nation. Jeb Bush personally went down to to Venice, Florida to remove all the flight records of the small airport that Mohammed Atta was flying out of, and ensconced them into a C-130 and took them to a military base for safe-keeping. It would have been hard for him to explain why one of his largest campaign contributors Wally Hilliard had paid CASH for "Huffman Aviation" in Venice, Florida, and why just two years before one of Hilliard's private Lear jets was busted at the Orlando Executive Airport with the largest cache of heroin onboard ever found in the US. (please Google this man's name yourself).

Your sense of security is not any better by the "war on terrorism", rather it is a costly and misleading red herring to keep everybody's noses out of CIA's culpability in 9/11. Please get a copy of Daniel Hopsicker's new book "Welcome to Terrorland". You won't sleep any better when your view of "politics" is changed forever. Obviously, you were still too young to remember Iran Contra or any of it's historic value to todays' "politics'. Whenever there is free money and a black market, you'll see many slugs operating both sides for THE MONEY.
