That's not the opinion I got from my kids. Their understanding seems very limited from school IMO and it seems to get little time compared to other important scientific topics. I don't hink human evolution was ever discussed. The approach seems to be to teach as little as possible to minimize controversy. They were not taught creationism as far as I know in Mobile, but I don't know about S GA.
