Fundamentalist Judaism, known commonly as "ultra-Orthodoxy", seeks to reverse 150 years (or more) of liberal reforms -- such as: giving women equal responsibility in the observation of the mitzvot ("commandments", and not merely The Big Ten); allowing women and girls to sit with their families in synagogue; permitting men to shave their faces and forgo those curly side-locks (called payes in Yiddish); permitting prayer in the vernacular language; etc. Ultra-Orthodox Jews are also as vehemently opposed to artifical birth control as the official position of Roman Catholicism.
Fundamentalist Islam? I think we're all familiar with that by now. Some of us here are even aware that it, too, is a fanatical fringe group.
You who are so smug about big-L "Liberalism", and Christianity's alleged opposition to it, should pay much closer attention to behaviors and life-styles you take for granted. In the larger picture, they are "liberal", too.
Want to lose? Do nothing.
