re: The attack on the judiciary goes on.

Excellent job as a junior member of the noise machine, Phil. Perhaps, with any luck, we can do away with the courts entirely and the White House can rule by decree.

Excellent job of liberal condescention. And bonus points for sliping in a ludicrous strawman that I did not propose.

Back to the issue of courts, not quite the original topic but an interesting side issue. We have seen a plethora of court rulings in recent years that have not reflected the intentions of legislatures or the populace, never mind the executive branch (e.g. MA judiciary gay marriage fiat vs. many legislative disaprovals and a dozen states popular referenda against). Such rulings have been based on personal ideological orientations of the judges and not on Constitutional language and certainly not original intent. An unfettered judiciary able to redesign our fundamental societial structure and rules per the latest trendy intellectual whim is not in our best interests. The source I cited reflects the hubris of today's academic left, folks who know they know better than the unwashed and 'should' be the ones fit to rule.
