Will you be satisfied when the slope goes vertical on your graph as well?
It's usually just good presentation procedure to use the entire graph to show data. As far as I'm concerned, the ~280ppm "baseline" IS zero. In the current phase of the ice age cycle, it's the recenty, pre-industrial baseline and apperently libertarian autistics and insular drunks aren't able to absorb this. We're not talking about some abstract concept or math history. Zero is an interesting concept, but we're talking about anthropogenic change in the CO2 concentration of our atmosphere.
The point is to convey the change. I see you made that graph yourself. I guess that makes it a conspiracy that you couldn't find one on the web. Do I also score points if I plot it in log scale to accentuate the curve.

- There is nothing dishonest about using that graph
- What makes that graph intellectually dishonest? (n/t)
- Whats the point, its not like people like Scott want the facts
