[[It's not a huge change. It's Parts per Million.
WHY dont you educate yourself on this topic before making a fool of yourself? Data posted by Tom, ET and I all show that changes of parts per million affect temperature- do you have trouble reading the data?]]
You are wrong.
[[It's good we don't have a record of greenhouse gas for Mars, otherwise RL would be claiming it proves there is an advanced Martian civilization.
Absolutely incorrect, asinine and irrelavent- what the hell does mars have to do with Earth's biosphere in this respect?]]
Well of course there there is periods of global warming on Mars- and when reading tea leaves one can make a number of errors.
[[The exact causual relationship between CO2 and global warming is not known. ]]
"BULLSHIT! Look at the data! Positive correlation between CO2 levels and temperature are shown in the empiracal data. We also understand the science as to why this is the case. Dont try bullshitting me- dont assuume that because you cant read scientific data and understand it that the rest of us suffer from your affliction..."
There have been periods in the planet's history where global CO2 levels have been at least 5 times higher than the present and the World was in a ICE AGE. This proves the higher CO2 are not as significant as other factors in determining Global temperature.
It's also true that most of the recent geological history this planet was in an ICE AGE, it is also true that we are in a relatively rare period of warming. This warming can not be explained as beginning because of human activity- at that time humans were running around with spears killing big elephants and at total population of around a 1000th of current population. This planet has had hundreds of Ice ages and warming periods and during this time human were at low populations or were even existing yet.
[[Your house could be said to be sensitive to increased CO2 levels- or it's designed to keep warm or cold gas in. Having people in a house will increase the CO2 levels. Because of it's nature arctic areas are also sensitive CO2 increases. Normally arctic areas are lower in CO2 content than other regions. The soviets with there huge build up industrial centers in northern parts of the country have had much larger affect of the local CO2 than if these same cities were in more temperate regions.
This is relavent in what way? Other than demonstrating you cant coherently convey your point I see no relavence.]]
CO2 levels are a localized, when measuring a trace substances such as CO2, relatively insignificant amounts of CO2 produced will affect the measured CO2 levels.
[CO2 levels are a dynamic element it can no way be described as static and steadly increasing quanitity. And yes their are "magical sinks" everywhere and we don't understand this very throughly. The ocean is one the biggest magical sinks, forests are another, weather systems another. This magical thing has build hundreds of miles of underground tunnels- for an example of how *magical* it is:)
Please explain why your magical sinks are shown to be unable to keep up.... are you expecting 'god' to suddenly turn them on to save us? ].
Well I see no evidence of these magical sinks not keeping up. Is not the US the biggest producer of CO2? Look at the fiqures- we still consume more power than any other nation on Earth. We have a large population that on average per person consumes power more than any other country. We drive SUVs like mad and burn lots of coal for electrical power. The consumption of energy is a direct relation to the level of prosperity of a country, and the US is richer and more productive than any country- we are a miltary superpower, but we are more of an economic superpower than miltary one. Ok, armed with these kind of facts. Look at the global map of CO2. There should be according to the logic a huge constant red cloud of CO2 coming from the US. Of course there is some, but the biggest affects are coming from Brazil and China.
Looks like magic, no?

- There is nothing dishonest about using that graph
- What makes that graph intellectually dishonest? (n/t)
- Whats the point, its not like people like Scott want the facts
